University Centre

On February 15, 1964, the University Centre was officially opened. It had a 325-seat lecture theatre, as well as lecture and seminar rooms, club rooms, and a cafeteria.
September 1969 saw an addition to the University Centre building, which included a new cafeteria and dining hall.
Today, the University Centre acts as a central hub on campus. Having a central location on campus (view map PDF), this building connects to the Student Centre, the Centennial Building and the university tunnel system. Many facilities, eateries, services and administrative offices are housed within or directly adjacent to the Centre. This building is also air conditioned and is elevator accessible.
