Balmoral Street Centre
The Balmoral Street Centre, formally Health Sciences North, opened in July 1991 and is located at the eastern edge of the campus
(view map PDF).
Since the opening of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine in 2005, the name Health Sciences North was changed to Balmoral Street Centre. The Balmoral Street Centre currently houses over 20 staff and faculty members of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM), including those employed in the delivery of Postgraduate Education (Family Medicine residency training), Continuing Health Professional Education, Community and Professional Development, Rehabilitation Studies and the Northern Studies Stream (Specialty Medicine residency training).
Adjacent to Balmoral street, the Balmoral Street Centre is easily accessed and close to lots of parking. The Centre foyer, lounge area and facilities offer a warm, inviting and professional atmosphere. This building is also air conditioned.
